So here I am on a bicycle minding my own business in my little bike lane going down 16th out by UBC in Vancouver when low and behold I hear a massive horn behind me and a bus nearly takes out my left elbow. This is only a minor incident. If you've never been to Vancouver watch out! The bus drivers here are a hazard and an obstacle at the same time. It's best if you look both ways when going through a green light because more often than not you'll see a bus blow through a red light. Usually the drivers giving everyone the finger too. That's my rant for today. For those of you that lived in Vancouver in 2001 I'm sure you remember a better time when they were on strike and life was peachy! Traffic flowed, people were happier. Seems to me everytime the unions like to strike life gets easier for the majority. But I guess that's a different story..... The Raging Cyclist PS Attached are photos of buses in Vancouver. If you see one RUN. PS Again: Here is a link to Bus Accident Lawyers |
